Baby Makes Three: Minneapolis Maternity Photographer

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I am so excited to blog about the session I had yesterday with K and T!  They are the cutest couple and so fun and well brave.  They braved the cold temperatures to take a few shots outside to show of K’s beautiful belly!  Can you believe that at nearly 39 weeks she was able to button up her pre-pregnancy jeans, OK it was just for a minute but still that is amazing!  I know that I could not have done that with either pregnancy!

K and T I hope you like your gallery!

Six on Saturday: Minneapolis Portrait Photographer

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  With the hectic holiday week I did not get to do my Five on Friday post so felt that Six on Saturday was even better, since I have a great sneak peak to share.

1. I LOVE Thanksgiving. It has always been my favorite holiday. I think this is because that the day is about good food, friends, family and being grateful – thankful for all of our blessings.  I am blessed, and it is nice to take time from the hectic routine to sit back and enjoy time with my family.

2. I am not a shopper — I can not seem to grasp the need to go out shopping on Thanksgiving or even stay up until midnight to do this. I much prefer, when ever possible, to order things online while I sit at my computer listening to holiday music.

3. Christmas is my second favorite holiday — because I love the lights, the music and GIVING.  Sadly my bank account is never as big as my heart.  I get excited buying gifts for the giving tree with my kids, it gives me hope that I can teach and guide them to understanding the true meaning of the holiday.

4. In line with the fact that my heart is bigger then our paychecks at times. I love finding deals.  There is currently one at Leapster, get five dollars off every cartridge in your cart. Here is the code: LEAPSTR5 There are some that are just five dollars, this means you can get them for just shipping.  I got several cartridges for the kids to give to Toys for Tots.  I love it when I can get a deal and give to someone else at the same time!!

5. I value true friendship.  Friendship has many different forms and I have friends that are just people I talk to while the kids play outside, others I call on when the world bottoms out and still others who I get together with for coffee and to laugh.

6. There is nothing in this world more exciting then expecting your first child.  I just love this couple.  They are fun and SO in love with each other and their new little one who is coming — in the not too distant future!
