Visions of …

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

As a photographer I get inspired by many different things.  I think, for me, I am most often inspired by costumes.  This is because when children put on a costume they forget about me and the camera and just have fun.  This is where I wish that my Mother’s talent with a sewing machine had rubbed off.  Anyway I digress.  This costume is amazing and the talent of the artist who created it even more spectacular!  Visit Grosgrain’s blog and check it out!

Some more Sneak Peaks!

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

Sometimes you just love what you do –and this is one of those time!  I love to get together and play with my families!  These two little one’s were on their third session with me, so it was just like meeting up with old friends!  I can not believe how much they have grown this past year!  The older Mr. K definitely left toddler hood behind and is now a full fledged preschooler!  Way to go!

H family — I hope to get your gallery done by the weekend!

That moment

In each session there are always moments that I capture that just are, to me, perfect.  They are not planned they are rarely posed and most often not expected. Sometimes I am not even aware of the capture until I start to edit the session.  This moment was one of those — perfect Moments.  Mr. N came in for his two year session.  He’s a repeat client so I am familiar with to him but he is a boy and he’s two — the most difficult age to photograph because they only want to move and groove!  Your gallery will be done soon — I hope you like the peak!

One word – FUN!

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

I know I have been slack on posting, but I am going to become better about keeping up the blog!

This photo is from a session I did last weekend.  It totally captures the mood of this session — I could not have had more fun.  Miss A – was just a blast and well such a fun and beautiful girl to work with.

I can only hope that when Katie grows up she will be this sweet and fun and so full of life!  She brought her big sister with her as well (I will share some of the two of them later) who was just as nice and again someone who I would want Kate to be like when she’s older!
