Summer Fun (children’s photographer Plymouth Minnesota)

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

I am in the middle of my busy season, which can be exhausting and yet fun.  I have done so many sessions and they are all fun and provide me with unique opportunities to capture life’s little unscripted moments.

These girls have been clients of mine for a while, so getting to gether to play is fun and a chance to catch up with them.  I thought they would love a sneak peek and because I can not decide how to “process” these images I did a few different treatments to them.  I hope my readers give me some feedback!

Golf + Boy = Summer

golf

John started the summer with golf lessons, and he really got into the swing of things. The program was so well run and he really got a ton out of it. He felt like a “big” kid doing the session of golf.  We can not wait for his next set at the end of the month!

All in a days work

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

I think we can all have days that are well, less the perfect.  This is my all time favorite photo that expresses well, that frustration.  This was taken at the end of a quick trip to the strawberry patch.  I must admit I had stars in my eyes thinking I would get a lovely photo of my two children sitting in a wagon eating strawberries.  I had just seen some wonderful work by a fellow photographer that had me thinking.  Alas, it was not to be that way.

Kate and John clearly didn’t like the idea of having their photo taken.
