on the move

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

That is the theme of my sessions this month, all my three month olds are finally sitting and getting ready to take on the world. This little peanut is so fun and so expressive.  I had a blast.  Sorry to the “H” family that the sneak peak is so delayed!!

What a cutie!

I have been photographing this little one since she was born.  She started life out as a little peanut and has turned into this amazingly fun little person!

This was her nine month session and once she got relaxed she had fun, but her favorite look to me was the shy smile.  She also has the deepest brown eyes and I just love her little head of hair, I would suppose that is because all my little one’s are bald babies!

Spring Flowers — from all our showers

Monday, June 16th, 2008

It is still technically spring, which means that I can have spring flowers. This year has been so odd. Normally my lilacs are in full bloom by early May and one of the first flowers to bloom in my garden, this year though they did not appear until this weekend.  My Roses bloomed before the Lilacs this year.  One night I went out and photographed the start of my garden.

smile

Little Miss B has the most engaging personality of any little girl I have ever met.  She has such spunk and energy yet can just surprize you with her expressions and moods.  This photo says everything about this girl to me — and I hope her parents love it as much as I do!

last sneak peak –

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

While the expressions here won’t win smiling contests they just seemed to fit the vintage mood of this car and the style of editing I was doing. This brother and sister team is so fun to photograph — they we a great way to end my day!

Watch out world…

Little Miss B just LOVED driving, she was the only one out of the first five kids to figure out how to get the car to go both backwards and forwards.  Look out Danica Patrick here comes Little Miss B!

Tutu Cute~~

Ok so the car had mass appeal not just for the boys, but for the girls as well~  Little miss M was a bit unsure, but I think she really wanted to show her Daddy that she’s ready for her own vehicle pedal powered or not~

Portrait Play Date Part II

What is more fun then two little boys who are friends?  Two little boys and one vintage car!  They both loved it but each had their own unique reaction to “the car”.  I know that I have some great photos of little Mr. R’s face, so don’t worry Mom you will get to see his adorable little smile!

Sneak Peak number one…

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Yesterday I spent the day with a bunch of Moms that are part of a local Mom’s club.  This is the second time we have done this event and it was a blast.  I took out my vintage pedal car and boy did the kids really LOVE that car!  I know that vintage style photos are not my usual “thing” but these images just screamed “vintage to me!
